Rain Bird RCKIT-1PS Drip Irrigation Conversion/Connection Kit for 5/8”, 1/2", .700” Drip Tubing. Convenient kit converts underground sprinklers and 1/2” risers in landscaped areas to water-saving Drip irrigation. Easily installed in minutes, this kit waters flower beds, shrubs, and more with pinpoint efficiency. All-in-one unit provides 30 PSI pressure regulation, and 200-mesh filter screen for optimal Drip system performance. Saving up to 65% over sprinkler watering, Drip systems apply water directly to the root zone for healthier, faster-growing plants, longer lasting blooms, and greener leaves. Since you won't be watering the surrounding soil, you'll also have fewer weeds to pull. In most instances, owners of Rain Bird 1800 Series pop-up sprinklers (#1 installed sprinkler head by professional installers) will make the conversion without digging. To install kit simply unscrew head of existing 1800 spray and lift out internal mechanism, replace with kit head and internal assembly and tighten. Kit will replace all pop-up sprinklers with a 1/2” threaded bottom inlet. Dig out old sprinkler and thread kit to existing 1/2” male fitting; flush system to remove any debris before adding tubing. Easy Fit 1/2” Tee compression tubing connector allows for quick, easy assembly to any 5/8”, 1/2”, or .700” Drip tubing. Simply slide tubing into compression connectors for a secure leak-proof seal. Can be installed above or below grade; constructed of highly durable UV and chemical-resistant materials to assure long life. Requires capping other heads on the zone; use Rain Bird 1800CAPS (sold separately) for quick secure termination. Specifications: flow rate of 0.5 to 4 gallons per minute; inlet pressure 15 to 70 PSI.
