Midwest grow kits premium casing is the perfect combination of Coco Coir, Vermiculite, Hydrated Lime, Gypsum, ph buffers, ph stabilizers, mineral water and a few other choice ingredients. Our premium casing comes fully hydrated and pasteurized and is ready to use right out of the bag! Use this along with a fully colonized spawn bag to start your bulk growing experience! Each 5 pound bag comes fully sealed and can be used right away or stored in the freezer for use up to 3 months later.

Mushroom Casing is a non-nutritious moisture retaining layer to spread on the top and bottom of your mushroom substrate. This method is generally referred to as the "Bulk" method, Monotub or Monotek, this is alternative way to fruit your spawn bags or jars. We provide easy to follow instructions on how to use and create your bulk grow. The hardest part of this process is achieving the perfect ratios of substrate, casing and water. We've made it easy!
