Philips 7 watt A19 LED provides 470 lumens of energy efficient illumination (58 lm/w), which is generally equivalent to the amount of light produced by a 40 watt incandescent, or a 9 watt compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulb. The 25,000 hour life will eliminate repeated re-lamping (incandescents typically last 800 to 1,000 hours, while CFLs typically last 6,000 to 10,000 hours). This high efficacy LED light contains no mercury, emits virtually no UV/IR light, will not fade colors, and will provide an even, diffuse light source. It is dimmable down to 10 percent of full light level. This lamp is considered omnidirectional, in that the light will be projected in all directions.
